Who I am
I learned the law in the academy, in the courts and in the world of business.
My perspective does not come from a single desk. I learned the rigor of the law by studying, litigating and administering justice inside Colombia's Judicial Branch. The reality of business I understood alongside my entrepreneur clients and, above all, by founding and managing my own financing company. And my graduate students keep me questioning, absorbing new ideas and deciphering tomorrow's challenges.
That is why what I write, teach and apply is not library theory: it is real — I have lived it firsthand and I put it to the test every day.
My commitment: that no one makes an important decision with a blind spot.

/01 · Studies
A foundation that never closes
Lawyer (U. de Medellín), specialist in Commercial and Business Law (U. del Rosario), specialist and master in Project Management (EAFIT). The diplomas never closed my books: every new client and every new case reopen the study.
/02 · The courts
Rigor learned from the inside
Almost a decade watching how justice actually operates: as Senior Clerk of Colombia's Judicial Branch and as a litigator defending business owners' interests on the ground. There I learned that disputes aren't won by improvising — they're won with preparation and an obsession with detail.

At the table where decisions are made
From the boardroom to the public sector. I have been an advisor to companies, a project lead, and legal advisor to the District of Medellín (across several of its secretariats) and to the City Council. My approach is clear: prevent the conflict, minimize financial risk, and design highly efficient legal alternatives.

Risk in my own skin
In 2022 I founded — and today I manage — NeUp, my own financing company. Credit, risk and cash flow are not textbook subjects to me: I handle them every day, making real decisions with my own signature on the line.

Teaching to learn twice
Graduate professor at EAFIT since 2024, in the Legal Framework in Project Management course. My specialization and master's students demand that I keep the theory sharp, question the established and anticipate tomorrow's corporate challenges.

The law as a success variable
As a master in project management, my research line demonstrates that the legal framework is a critical success variable. Through thesis work, papers and case studies, I connect the law with senior management to shield strategic decision-making.
